Here is an accurate description of what to expect if
your child is planning on volunteering for one of our
productions...

Sound Crew: Runs the sound board (mics/sound cues) during shows. Sound crew is in charge of testing mics, and checking/equalizing volumes. (will be asked to come to every full run rehearsal/ will vary depending on show)
Costumes Crew: Assists with quick changes, making costumes, costume malfunctions, and getting actors into costume on time. It is helpful if you know how to sew! (will be asked to attend most rehearsals including some weekends for costume shopping)

(will be asked to come in weeks before opening night as well as all show days/ may not be asked to stay the full time). In many of our productions Makeup is directly connected with costumes.
Set Crew: Will assist in the set construction and will act as set change crew for performances. Set crew may also help paint the set and be present on build days. (will be required to come to almost all rehearsal days as well as build days on weekends and performance dates)
Publicity: Will act as ushers on performance days and may be asked to help hang posters, flyers, and advertise the show!
(Will be asked to watch at least one run through of the show before opening night and will be required to attend all show nights)
*All Crews will have to put in a rather hefty amount of hours into each production. However, hours and dates will vary depending on style and size of the show. Running Crew Rehearsal Schedules will be given to any applicants and will include times and dates for each crew. If you have any questions please feel free to fill out a contact form and we will get back to you in a timely manner.
